Fox is bringing back Showtime at the Apollo in the form of two TV specials. According to Deadline, the network has ordered two Showtime at the Apollo specials hosted by Steve Harvey, with Reginald Hudlin and original Apollo producer/director Don Weiner onboard to co-executive produce and direct. “I’m excited to be going back home to the Apollo to celebrate the history of this great theater,” said Harvey on the news. “I have great memories from my time there, and this is going to be a homecoming party that you won’t want to miss.” The first two-hour special will air on Monday, December 5th, and the second will air sometime early next year.
