As our review pointed out, one of the virtues of Rogue One: A Star Wars story is that it actually has a dang ending. This puts it in stark contrast with most geek-franchise flicks these days, which nearly always conclude with an open-ended tease for a planned sequel of some sort. This fact about the latest Wars installment isn’t a spoiler, as Lucasfilm head Kathleen Kennedy preemptively dashed hopes for a Rogue Two a few weeks ago. However, strangely enough, The Hollywood Reporter is claiming that, according to its sources, star Felicity Jones has an option for a sequel in her contract. If we speculated about how that might play out, it’d constitute a spoiler, so watch the movie and get back to us with your theories.
