Tough times over at the Department of Edu-Cash-Cab. In the wake of Sunday’s W.E.B. Du Bois Twitter debacle, comedian and Tonight Show writer Jo Firestone slipped on a Betsy DeVos–style pair of glasses and a similarly positive disposition and apologized profusely for the Department of Education’s role in misspelling the name of the famed civil-rights activist and co-founder of the NAACP in a tweet. And, uh, then also apologized for misspelling the apology. DeVos’s sincerest I’m Sorrys for the many, many, many mistakes. Going forward, she has totally got this.
