Bill Nye’s upcoming Netflix series just got a premiere date and its first trailer. Ordered to series back in August, each episode of Bill Nye Saves the World will “tackle a topic from a scientific point of view, dispelling myths, and refuting anti-scientific claims that may be espoused by politicians, religious leaders or titans of industry.†Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson alum Michael Naidus serves as showrunner, and the series has the backing of a team of correspondents, a science writing staff led by astronomer Phil Plait, a comedy writing staff led by former Tonight Show writer Mike Drucker, and a ton of special guests.
