Eva Green spent the first ten years of her career taking very few roles, amassing just 11 screen credits in a decade of work. Ever since 2014, though, she’s been much more active, taking on big-budget movies like Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and 300: Rise of an Empire and the Showtime series Penny Dreadful. Now, Variety is reporting that her latest high-profile project could reunite her with director Tim Burton for a third time in his live-action remake of Dumbo. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latest beloved property to get hauled out of the Disney vault is said to be focusing more on the circus aspect of the story, with four principle human characters. Green is in talks for the role of a trapeze artist, and there’s no word yet on if Andy Serkis has been approached to play the helpful mouse who aids Dumbo in reaching his full potential.
