Vanessa Bayer, Phoebe Robinson, and Gillian Jacobs are starring in a movie together. According to The Hollywood Reporter, all three have signed on to star in a movie in the works at Netflix called Ibiza,which centers on Jacobs as “a woman who goes on a business trip to Spain to close a big deal, but instead finds herself on a wild ride of partying and clubbing, where she falls in love with a world famous DJ and realizes there is more to life than showing up to a job she hates.†Lauren Kahn wrote the script, Alex Richanbach will direct, and Gary Sanchez’s Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, and Kevin J. Messick are credited as producers. As the THR report notes, Kahn used to work as McKay’s assistant and Richanbach has worked as a writer/director for Funny or Die since the late 2000s.
