IFC just announced a round of comedy news. First up is a season 3 renewal for Dana Gould’s series Stan Against Evil starring John C. McGinley and Janet Varney, which aired its 8-episode second season in November. Season 3 will premiere on IFC sometime in the fall. In addition, IFC revealed the season 2 premiere date for the Hank Azaria-starring Brockmire, which was renewed last year. The next batch of episodes are slated to debut Wednesday, April 25th at 10:00pm. Read our review of Brockmire’s first season here.
Finally, some bad news: If you were hoping for more Documentary Now! this year, get ready to be disappointed, because IFC announced that season 3 of Seth Meyers, Fred Armisen, and Bill Hader’s series won’t arrive until sometime in 2019.
