Adam Pally and Abby Elliott are set to star in the NBC comedy pilot Uninsured. According to Variety, Pally will play Dave, a “natural hype man with a good heart.†Elliott will play his wife, Rebecca, who can’t cope with the disarray in their household. The Goldbergs executive producers Dan Levy and Doug Robinson are behind the project, which Levy also wrote. Uninsured is about Dave and his parents, who have to move in with their son after years of financial uh-ohs leaves them deep in debt. Also joining the pilot as potential series regulars are Jessy Hodges and Amer Chadha-Patel.
