Just when you thought you were out of the deep end, they pull you back in. Between Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s Oscars performance of “Shallowâ€, the film’s extended cut re-release in theaters, and the fact that the album was on sale for $2.99, you sweet misty-eyed cuddle bugs all remembered how much you loved the music from A Star Is Born, causing you to send the film’s soundtrack back to number one on the Billboard 200 album charts.
The album had previously spent three weeks at number one back in October upon it’s initial release. Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s return to the top knocks Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next down a peg to number two. But at least Ariana knows what she needs to do to reclaim her crown: remake A Star Is Born again and give herself the starring role. Honestly, Bradley Cooper seems like he’d be down for another go-around, if she asked.
