A daylong peaceful vigil near Nipsey Hussle’s Los Angeles store ended in injuries and police confrontations. Six people were reportedly injured after a fight broke out, and — according to NBC4 — one person has been stabbed. Cameras on the scene show people trampling each other in the effort to get away from a potential site of conflict. LAPD arrived allegedly because of reported gunshots. “Reports of shots fired at the vigil do not appear to be accurate,†tweeted LAPD HQ. “We do have injured in the chaos and are attempting to restore order.†L.A. Taco wrote that police forcibly cleared the area, with some community members and fans remaining on the scene protesting the police presence. The vigil took place on the corner of Slauson and Crenshaw, near where Hussle was shot March 31. The case was officially ruled a homicide earlier today.
