The New York Times is reporting that Tyler, the Creator’s newest album, IGOR has bested DJ Khaled’s Father of Asahd for the no. 1 spot in this week’s Billboard 200 albums chart. It is the artist’s first no. 1 album, and while Father of Asahd’s streaming numbers just barely beat IGOR’s, the latter sold over twice as many full copies, putting it over the top. IGOR is Tyler, the Creator’s fifth studio album, and the victory has to feel great, considering his last album Flower Boy debuted at a very close number two in 2017, only 1,000 units behind Lana Del Rey’s Lust for Life. But if you’re wondering how great Tyler, the Creator is feeling about this milestone, look no further than this captionless video he posted of himself to Twitter and Instagram with an actual stream of tears coming down his face.
