Leonardo DiCaprio’s brand is excellence, and by that we mean he has excellent taste in teen dramas (and pop stars). At the red-carpet event for his little film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, the actor told Variety that his favorite show at the moment is Euphoria. You know the one. Quick q from us though: How did this man find out about something cool? Who dropped the ball here? Leo DiCaprio gives off very strong “I only watch my own work†vibes, and every Oscars season he just cheats off Ben Affleck. So, who got him to watch Euphoria? An investigation commences.
Euphoria stars Zendaya, an actress Rihanna has given her wonky wink of approval to several times over. We can already imagine the text he sent Rihanna after watching the first episode: “Whoa, pretty graphic show. Reminds me of back in the day haha. Drinks when you’re in town?†No, she’s actually busy getting drinks with Seth Meyers. Or maybe, for once, Leo wasn’t motivated by Rihanna and was recommended the show by his 22-year-old girlfriend, Camila Morrone. It is for her demographic. (There are also a lot of beautiful 22-year-old women on Euphoria.) It could be that he got word that Zendaya’s character, Rue, and her best friend, Jules, dressed up as the 1996 Romeo + Juliet in last week’s Halloween episode. So, he just had to watch to confirm that people still remember who he was in his prime. You know, back when most of the cast of Euphoria hadn’t even been conceived yet.
