Proving that the sun never sets on Reese Witherspoon’s lifestyle empire, Netflix has added a new home-organization series to its reality-show lineup, The Home Edit, produced by Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine. The show, hosted by Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin, will follow the two master organizers as they clear up the cluttered houses of celebrities and ordinary families alike. Shearer and Teplin are the authors of the book The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals, which will serve as inspiration for the eight-episode series. Home-improvement series have breathed new life into Netflix’s unscripted slate, most notably, Tidying Up With Marie Kondo, a massive hit for the streaming platform earlier this year. It remains to be seen whether this series will also be an international cultural phenomenon, but if there is one thing we’ve learned, it’s not to underestimate Reese Witherspoon.
