Stephanie Patrick was just a regular-degular gal, like you or I, when she found out that the plane crash that killed her entire family wasn’t an accident. Like any normal person or bat-inspired vigilante, she makes it her mission to avenge them. Or at least that’s what we’re getting from the action-packed trailer starring Blake Lively and her accent that sometimes sounds like Phoebe Waller-Bridge with a cold and sometimes sounds like Blake Lively. Jude Law and Sterling K. Brown co-star, original accents maintained. Based on the novel by Mark Burnell and directed by The Handmaid’s Tale’s Reed Morano, The Rhythm Section comes out on January 31. Hopefully there will be more wigs than the (count ‘em!) one, two, three, four we see in the trailer. Always more wigs.
