Robin Thede’s HBO series, A Black Lady Sketch Show, isn’t the only all-woman sketch-comedy show to bless our television screens in 2019 thanks to Baroness von Sketch Show, which returns to IFC later this month following a series renewal from the network last year. The all-woman, all-Canadian series stars Carolyn Taylor, Meredith MacNeill, Aurora Browne, and Jennifer Whalen, and heads back to IFC on Wednesday, October 30 at midnight. As the trailer reveals, the next batch of episodes covers a little bit of everything, including the curse of young adults born in the 1990s, scrunchies’ fashion comeback, and binge-watching: “I just started watching The Leftovers.†“June, what are you watching?†“Um, I don’t know.
