Help — Disney has fallen off its bike! Focus Features will release The Bikeriders on June 21, 2024. It scooped The Bikeriders up from 20th Century Studios and Disney, according to a December 8 release. New Regency’s Jeff Nichols film has already wheeled on through the festival circuit, but on November 21, Deadline reported that the movie will no longer be released by 20th Century Studios and Disney despite its original acquisition. The movie, which stars Austin Butler, Jodie “Up-and-†Comer, and Tom Hardy, was originally scheduled for release on December 1 but was postponed following the announcement that Beyoncé’s Renaissance film would premiere on that day. The Bikeriders is now being shopped to other studios and streamers that may be more interested in this crime drama about a midwestern motorcycle gang, inspired by photographer Danny Lyon’s book of the same name. Butlerinas, rev your engines.
