Theater critics can babble on all they want about how bad a production is, but what really matters is word of mouth. Or, in this case, word of snout. Demi Moore’s Chihuahua, Pilaf, absolutely loved the Tom Holland–starring Romeo & Juliet currently playing on the West End. Reviews for the production have been decidedly negative — it’s been described with phrases like: “oppressively dour,†“pervading melancholy,†and “too stilted.†Pilaf is having none of that. “She recently saw Tom Holland in Romeo And Juliet in London,†Moore told Daily Mail. “She was quite moved. She thought the performance was extraordinary, as it was.†It’s hard to decide whom we ultimately trust in this situation, but only one of them has studied under Demi Moore herself, so we’ll probably go with Pilaf.
Pilaf has a wealth of cultural expertise, because wherever Moore goes, Pilaf is sure to be, too. “‘She’s been to the French Open and the Louvre,†Moore said. “She’s been to Broadway shows.†Well, the real question moving forward is if they’re going to attend PAC NYC’s upcoming Ballroom Cats. Pilaf might like it!
