Some people can just watch election results roll in and chill. They just watch the New York Times election Needle, like those freaks who raw-dog flights. Others need a little distraction to take the edge off. There’s any number of genuinely relaxing things one could use to turn off the brain. Macro images of marble, or that one deaf cat on TikTok that doesn’t know it makes the cutest noises. Or, at this point, Uncut Gems? Twitter has pointed out that literally anything is most likely a more chill viewing experience than America’s election results. The Bear is more chill, Horizon: An American Saga would feel shorter, the original Halloween would have fewer anti-sex and misogynist implications. You get the idea.
