To completely remove BBC iPlayer Downloads, you'll need to uninstall the app then remove some additional folders, which we've listed below. Choose your operating system or scroll down:

- Click the Windows Start button
- Choose Settings
- Navigate to Apps & Features
- Find the app for BBC iPlayer Downloads (version 1.x) or BBCiPlayerDownloads (version 2.x)
- Confirm by selecting the Uninstall option
There are some additional steps if you're uninstalling version 2 (e.g. v2.5.2):
To check what version you have, click on Settings in the app. The version number will be displayed at the top left of the Settings page.
You'll need to uninstall these folders to remove all elements of the app. Click on Start, then Computer, then select the folders below (from left to right). When you get to the BBC iPlayer Downloads folder, right click and delete it:
- C: > Users > [username] > Videos > BBC iPlayer Downloads
- C: > Users > [username] > AppData > Local > bbciplayerdownloads
- C: > Users > [username] > AppData > Roaming > BBCiPlayerDownloads

- Right-click in the screen's bottom left corner and choose the Control Panel from the pop-up menu
