A Pair of Cherry-Red Sweatpants for Only $17

I don’t believe in spending much more than $30 on sweatpants. It’s one of the few things I’m very cheap about. Like I wrote in last month’s Strat Haul: I wear mine until they’re unwearable, I like them logoless, and I want them loose enough for my legs to be comfortable. Lately, my favorite are Old Navy’s Extra High-Waisted SoComfy Jogger Sweatpants, which are cheap ($35) to begin with and even cheaper now at just $17. Made from Old Navy’s SoComfy fleece — a blend of 90 percent cotton and 10 percent recycled polyester — they’re wonderfully soft and feel like wrapping a blanket around yourself. They come in the usual sweatpant shades — “Black Jack” and “Wish Bone” in Old Navy-speak — but I’m big on the Robbie Red shade. Do yourself a favor and buy a few — I’m stocking up myself.
