It’s the final week of February, which means retailers are clearing out their winter inventory and trying to get customers excited for spring. Thus, the clearance bins are in a strange state of bikinis and puffer coats, spring denim and winter wool — but the deals are good on all of it. Below, I’ve pulled my favorite deals from Madewell, Hanna Andersson, Anthropologie, and more. But if you shop just one sale this weekend, make it Urban Outfitters. Nearly everything (including sale items) is 25 percent off for UO Rewards members, which is free to join with your email address. And Ssense’s sale section closes up shop this weekend, so I’d suggest taking a spin through it, since it will be a few months till we see a sale there again.

Cap Beauty is having a sale to celebrate its tenth anniversary through Saturday night. Among the goodies: Yves Durif’s much-coveted hairbrushes, including the classic brush (pictured here), comb, and a travel set. Writer Lauren Ro told me she’s owned the vented brush for years and adores it.
Anthropologie is offering up to 25 percent off a selection of its “faves” this weekend. I like the balloon-ish sleeves of this cardigan, which comes in six colors.
Urban Outfitters is holding a similar sale this weekend: Everything (except for a few brands like Birkenstock, Owala, etc.) is 25 percent off for UO Rewards members. I like the seams down the sides of these track pants, which can be cinched at the ankle.
If you’ve got a wedding, prom, or other swanky function on the horizon, everything at The Black Tux is 20 percent off this weekend. Strategist contributor Chris Black suggests renting a suit from the company, then splurging on a shirt, tie, and shoes.
Hanna Andersson recently launched its spring collection, and all of it is on sale right now — most for about 30 percent off. I’m charmed by the new prints for the pajamas, particularly this wallpaper-like design.
Not even the children are safe from the barrel-jeans agenda. Thankfully, these aren’t too Yosemite Sam.
I’m thoroughly obsessed with this chicken-shaped purse I found at Ssense.
The pochette is perhaps the most practical (and might make a nice errand clutch for adults, since it’s 8.5 by 12 inches).
And I found this under-$20 wallet in the adult’s section.
A few more small bags: This twee tote from Anthropologie has caught my eye, particularly in this butter shade.
The woven version would be perfect for vacation. Both come with a small, zippered pouch that fits inside, too.
Samantha Pleet’s sale section just got an update today, including this half-off tote for schlepping.
Ban.do is having a sale-on-sale; just use the code EXTRAEXTRA to take an extra 15 percent off all sale items. Hansel From Basel’s scalloped bucket hat is water-resistant, comes in five colors, and is now only $14.
By far the best deal I’ve seen on anything from Susan Alexandra. If cherries aren’t to your taste, the strawberry and banana versions are on sale, too.
As I mentioned in my roundup of the best things on sale at Madewell, several full-price items are up to 40 percent off right now with the code MADEBETTER. I think this paperclip-chain necklace is the perfect spot to put any lonesome charms you have lying around.
And to hold your new jewels: the jewelry box I’ve had since 2013. It truly has not aged at all.
Merrell’s having another sale this winter, and this time discounts go up to 50 percent off. I never would have guessed these chocolate-brown boots were from Merrell — they’re very city-friendly! (A nice option for you never-Blundstoners.)
Never a bad deal when these camel brown, shearling-lined slides are on sale. They’re still available in most sizes.
I found a cache of luxurious candles on sale at Bluemercury. This one from Nette has notes of verbena and jasmine sambac, patchouli, and sandalwood.
If you prefer incense, this eye-catching holder from East Fork (in a now-retired glaze) is 20 percent off.
I went sniffing around Schoolhouse’s sale section and was delighted to find a Pendleton blanket for $100 off.
I found a few cotton bath mats for an even deeper discount — 50 percent off! This one comes in mustard yellow, cream, forest green, and navy blue …
… While this simple striped mat comes in orange or navy blue. Note that if you opt to purchase this from Food52, they only have the navy-blue version in stock.
Another striped mat I like. And it looks nearly identical to the pattern of a Marimekko washcloth I own.
Both senior editor Simone Kitchens and home writer Lauren Ro own and recommend this Best in Class bath towel from Autumn Sonata. Its design is inspired by traditional Katazome stencil practices.
I found some nice mid-century modern tableware on sale at Neiman Marcus. First, these geometric dinner plates that shake out to just $13 apiece.
And these punchy coaster from Jonathan Adler, the king of capturing that Palm Springs–modern vibe.
One of our favorite cutting boards, which I recently spotted at my local (and very hip) bookstore-slash-café, is $60 when you buy it in the teal-and-green colorway.
Amazon is inflating the listing price, but this is still an excellent (and fairly rare) deal on our best overall rice cooker.
Snoopy and Miffy better watch out, because Monchhichi is coming for the crown!
We’ve oft recommended this 100-piece set of magnetic tiles, which snap together to build flat or 3-D shapes, patterns, and creatures.
