AMC, having already dabbled into the late great Anne Rice’s supernatural world with Interview With the Vampire, is now trying some dark magic. Alexandra Daddario stars as Rowan, a young woman who learns that is actually the heir to a long line of witches who have all been haunted by an entity known as Lasher.

Mayfair Witches, an adaptation of Rice’s Lives of the Mayfair Witches trilogy, also stars Tongayi Chirisa, Jack Huston, and Harry Hamlin. Beth Grant, Erica Gimpel, Annabeth Gish, and Jen Richards have recurring roles.
