Apartment 23’s title is now back to Don’t Trust the B—- in Apartment 23 — and those dashes in bitch are ABC’s, not ours. That’s called “having it both ways,” ABC! Being puritanical enough to dash it out, but naughty enough to make it a title? It’s $#*! My Dad Says all over again, except 23 has James Van Der Beek. (And a much, much better show: Krysten Ritter stars as the titular B, who scandalizes her new corn-fed neighbor.) It’s hard to tell whether ABC is just trying to avoid Cougar Town–ing a whole other series, or if this is just a ploy to keep everyone aware that they do indeed have some mid-season shows that can handily swoop in and remove all memory of Charlie’s Angels.
