After 25 seasons, America’s Most Wanted appears to be done. Fox gave the series the chop in 2011, only for it to be briefly resurrected at Lifetime. Now, nearly six months after the last new episode aired, Lifetime has opted against a renewal. The network is developing a new pilot, potentially called John Walsh Investigates, with the show’s host. Since America’s Most Wanted’s debut in 1988, the show helped nab 1,202 fugitives around the globe. It may also resurface once more on another network.
