J.Lo, who served as an American Idol judge during the tenth and eleventh seasons, is close to signing a deal to return to the aging singing competition, Deadline reports. Idol’s long table has some spots to fill, as Fox got rid of the majority of the poorly rated twelfth season’s apparently unlikable panel (Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, and Randy Jackson all departed), leaving only Keith Urban to carry the flame. In addition to Urban, Lopez’s co-judges might include will.i.am, who is said to be “in talks†to join the show, and former Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson.
