If you believe Jennifer Lopez’s boyfriend Casper Smart — and why wouldn’t you, anyway? — then the rumors are true: J. Lo will sit at the American Idol judges’ table next season. When E! asked Smart whether Lopez was returning to her old gig, he said “yes,†though it seems that he thought Fox had already made the announcement. They have not, and so the network had no comment on the matter. An “insider†said Lopez’s deal with the network “is not closed yet,†but it seems that it’s about to be.
