Even though Happy Endings is canceled, you’ll soon be able to see star Adam Pally on TV every week again. Pally has been made a series regular on Fox’s The Mindy Project, TV Line reports. It was announced over the summer that he’d been hired to do a multi-episode guest starring arc as a new doctor at Mindy’s OB/GYN practice, but he’s quickly been promoted to a full-time cast member on the show. His first appearance is in the second season’s third episode, which airs October 1st.
Since attempts to bring Happy Endings to a new network didn’t work out, the show’s stars have rapidly been finding work elsewhere. Damon Wayans Jr. booked a recurring role on New Girl to reprise his role from the pilot in at least six episodes of the new season, Casey Wilson is developing a show called DINKS with writing partner June Diane Raphael at ABC, and Eliza Coupe has a recurring role on season three of House of Lies.
