CBS sure knows how to make sitcoms that a lot of people watch, and they’re sticking with what works. This afternoon, CBS announced nine more episodes for freshman sitcoms The Crazy Ones, The Millers, and Mom, bringing each to 22 episodes. The Millers has been doing very well in this ratings so far, and this week was the second most-watched comedy on network TV after long-running megahit The Big Bang Theory. The Crazy Ones premiered crazy strong, and while it hasn’t retained all those viewers, it’s still doing quite well. Mom hasn’t been performing as well, but CBS seems to trust in the Chuck Lorre-produced sitcom. The network already cancelled one sitcom, We Are Men, after only two episodes.
