NBC Cancels Freshman Comedies ‘A to Z’ and ‘Bad Judge’

Two of NBC’s new comedies will not be continuing into second seasons. Deadline reports that both the romantic comedy A to Z and Gary Sanchez-produced Bad Judge have been canceled by the network, though they will finish their 13-episode seasons in the 9:00 and 9:30pm time slots. NBC reportedly plans to replace the time slot with hourlong drama The Blacklist after the Super Bowl, so hopefully you weren’t anticipating a revival of NBC’s once-great Thursday night comedy block just yet.
