Since the fall 2015 couture shows are this week, we’re highlighting independent designers creating carefully crafted, made-to-order pieces from all over the world. Here’s a little piece of couture kitchenware: This contemporary ceramic bowl handmade by Golem Designs, based in Vancouver, Canada. With a black-and-white-speckled rustic design, this piece is hand-shaped from porcelain before being fired in the kiln. It’s glazed with nontoxic white satin ceramic, making it food-safe. Use it to serve up a summer salad when friends come over, or place some fruit inside to create an elegant centerpiece.
