For the five-year anniversary of the show’s premiere, Complex today published an ah-mah-zing oral history of Happy Endings, complete with tales of stripper poles, dirty jokes, and one cast member having a terrible time throughout season three. But how does everyone feel about the fandom’s dream of getting the cast back together for another go-round? It depends. Zachary Knighton says he’s “game.†Adam Pally says he “would work with any of those people for no money at the drop of a hat.†Elisha Cuthbert swears she’s “having a blast†on The Ranch, but would love to do it if the timing was right. Eliza Coupe would do “a limited series on Netflix or some sort of movie … in a fucking heartbeat.â€Â But Casey Wilson, while noting that she “would love to do it again,†is worried a Happy Endings revival might not live up to expectations: “Isn’t it always a bit of a letdown when they bring your shows back and we’re weirdly 25 years older and are we still hanging out at Emma’s diner? Sometimes I think it ended at just the right place, where it can live as a great little gem of the show.†Emma’s diner, that’s a bu-bu-burn!
