It wouldn’t be a girl-band breakup if there weren’t some finger-pointing (see Spice Girls: Ginger), but the women of Fifth Harmony are really using their social-media skills to win over their remaining fans. After the group announced Camila Cabello’s departure via a Twitter post in the wee hours of the morning yesterday, claiming they learned about the singer’s departure through her representatives, Cabello unleashed her own social-media response, calling the other ladies — Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui — liars. Cabello claimed they knew about her decision for a while, and insisted, “I wish them nothing but the best.†Deciding to clear the air, while also sharing their best wishes for Cabello, the other members fired back with their own account, which included trying to make 5H work with group counseling sessions that Cabello never showed up for. So, really, Harmonizers, you should let them have full custody of you, because Cabello and her solo career never really tried to make it work. Unless, of course, another revelation comes out over social media tomorrow that convinces you Cabello is the one who really wants the well wishes for us all.
