The Shia LaBeouf renaissance is upon us! The Transformers defector stars in this year’s Honey Boy and Peanut Butter Falcon, and now, coming soon, After Exile. According to Deadline, Shia LaBeouf will co-star with Robert De Niro in the upcoming crime thriller. After serving time for killing an innocent man, Mike Delaney (LaBeouf) must help his ex-criminal pop, Ted Delaney (De Niro), save his little brother from the same tough life they escaped. It’s a father-son epic! As such, we would like to request many a promotional photo where Shia LaBeouf and Robert De Niro stand back to back, one where De Niro looks at LaBeouf like he’s slightly disappointed in him for burping at the dinner table, and also one where LaBeouf has accidentally side swiped the family car while pulling out of the garage. It’s fine that they don’t fit tonally. This is just for us. After Exile will be directed by Joshua Michael Stern. The younger brother has not yet been cast, but if the producers would like a little help casting a young, emotionally wrecked white man, we have a few in mind.
