Last night, the silver carpet rolled out for Sex and the City 2’s New York unveiling. For the premiere of the first movie, the carpet was pink, but silver is a better color to prevent clashing. Even Liza Minelli, who wore silver, complemented the rug rather than blending in with it. But her outfit, while it stood out, wasn’t the most stand-out of the night. Of course, that honor had to belong to Sarah Jessica Parker, who suited her spring Valentino couture dress quite well. Her after-party look was less fortunate, but at least everyone will probably be talking about that today instead of what the other ladies there wore. See those looks and more in the slideshow.
