Chanel muse and Roger Vivier brand ambassador Ines de la Fressange has written a book, Parisian Chic: A Style Guide. Presented notebook-meets-scrapbook-style, Parisian Chic is filled with cute lo-fi illustrations, doodles, and asides — a lighthearted mishmash of insider-y tips and recommendations on everything from what stores to shop in to what beauty products to wear, and even what to put in your home (scented candles: good; curtains: bad).
Ines’s fashion advice is a true Parisian’s sartorial road map that covers mixing and matching styles and separates, shopping in the mens’ department at H&M, and being sure not to worship any graven fashion idols. In a series of artsy street-style photos, her daughter Nine D’Urso models the wardrobe basics Inès calls “the Magnificent Seven,” as well as accessories to match.
