As the show season winds down, there’s the inevitable flurry of announcements about designers leaving their posts, usually because they’ve been fired or they’ve gotten better offers elsewhere. The latest label to swap out its creative chief is Vionnet, best known for its red carpet gowns, whose designer Rodolfo Paglialunga will be replaced by Barbara and Lucia Croce. Paglialunga has designed ten collections for the label, and is leaving to pursue “other personal and professional paths,” according to the company’s announcement today. [WSJ]
