COSMETIC SURGERY

• Plastic surgeons see more and more people asking to get work done on their hands. A “hand lift” is a 5-to-10-minute procedure, which costs about $1,200, and involves injecting synthetic fillers under the first layer of skin to plump it up. [NYTimes]

• Kim Kardashian is suing a plastic surgeon in Mexico who used her image for one of his billboard ads. When asked to comment, the doctor said, “Obviously I did not speak to Kim Kardashian. I do not have her number.” This probably won’t end well for him. [TMZ]
