
According to the Daily News, the brand plans to develop a “casual” and “quirky” offshoot before year’s end, and “the products will focus on home goods but will include apparel, and will be priced lower than Kate Spade New York’s current line.” Employees from Kate Spade are supposedly clamoring to work on the new project, but the first Kate Spade Saturday stores will open overseas — though “an online presence” is also on the list of priorities. There’s definitely a Friday, Friday/Saturday, Saturday joke in here somewhere, but we just can’t put our finger on it.
