Since she started dating Justin Theroux more than a year ago, we’ve watched Jennifer Aniston’s style morph from sunny California girl to black-leather-jacket-wearing quasi-hipster. Today, the beanie-loving couple confirmed their engagement to People magazine, so what better time to catch up on all the accessory-matching they’ve done lately? After all, only true love begins with shared fedoras, does it not? See our slideshow analyzing their coordinated sartorial efforts.

Note their twin brass belt buckles, their matching aviators, and their similar boots. Oh, and they’re sharing an umbrella! Adorable.

Here they are on the same day, checking out flatware together (how domestic!). Even their butts are somewhat coordinated, in that they both include some unexpected details: Hers boasts contrasting pockets, while his reveals a set of keys dangling from a carabiner affixed to his backmost belt loop, you know, should he feel like overextending himself to reach them — or in case he wants Jen to grab them for him (nudge, nudge!).

Again, in their matching aviators and layered grays and beiges.

Ah, a night on the town! Which, for both of them, means basic solid black. But even their formal accessories match: That gray bit on Justin’s tie is the same mousey-gray color as Jen’s wrap.

More matching aviators, plus coordinated brass hardware on their jackets. Thank goodness he never convinced her to try that knit beanie. Jen can only take her hipster side so far.

You know what they say: A couple who wears black together … wears a lot of black together.

She went a little out of bounds with the purple scarf but tried to make up for it with their coordinating black lace-up boots.
