The Cut Works Out With Hilary Rhoda

Hilary Rhoda keeps a busy schedule — she’s a face of Estée Lauder, recently covered Vogue Latin America and Numéro, and walked for Ralph Lauren, Marchesa, and Zac Posen during past New York Fashion Week. You can also spot the 25-year-old model in the fall campaigns for Bally and Hugo Boss, and recent editions of Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issues. With so much going on, it’s all the more impressive that she carves out as much time as she does for working out. Granted, it is her job to keep in top shape, but this is a girl who obviously doesn’t rely on quick fixes to slim down. She logs time with her personal trainer or at SoulCycle every day, sometimes booking two sessions if time allows. She’s also big into tennis, which she likes because she’s always been a sports player, growing up playing field hockey and lacrosse and taking ballet lessons.

The benefit of all this working out is that she can eat whatever she wants — which includes Peanut M&Ms first thing every morning — and so she doesn’t go into panic mode before a job. “It’s more about keeping up with it and then you’re always ready,” she said. “I don’t do anything special before [shoots]. There’s no fasting or crazy diets or anything. I just maintain it.” Watch the video to see us struggle tag along with her as she shows us her daily workout.
