WWD reports that the fashion house, which shifted from shows to presentations in 2010, plans to hold neither as part of the next couture week in Paris, from January 21 to 24. Givenchy is still going to make the elaborate garments, dress celebrities in them, and invite clients to stop by its salons; it seems entertaining the press is just a hassle. I wasn’t going to buy anything, anyway.
