As part of its March 29 issue, The Hollywood Reporter released its annual list of L.A.’s 25 most powerful stylists, and taking this year’s top spot is Leslie Fremar, whose clients include Charlize Theron, Jennifer Connelly, Scarlett Johansson, Reese Witherspoon, and Julianne Moore. The latter told THR, “Leslie is drama-free,” and — fun fact from the magazine — Fremar “is rumored to be Lauren Weisberger’s inspiration for the No. 1 assistant in The Devil Wears Prada.” Petra Flannery (dresser of Claire Danes, Zoe Saldana, and Emma Stone) and Rachel Zoe came in second and third, respectively. Among Zoe’s recent accomplishments: putting Anne Hathaway in her last-minute, pink satin Prada number with unfortunately placed darts for the Oscars. Yes, Hathaway, who was reportedly “throwing a fit,” turned to Zoe to problem-solve. Third most powerful stylist? More like stylist of the century!
