Yesterday, the Internet exploded after Angelina Jolie wrote an op-ed on her decision to undergo a preventative double mastectomy. She became a sex symbol that redefined femininity (who even managed to continue being a humanitarian while recovering) declaring, “I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity.” And in the piece, she even gave a shout out to the man who was by her throughout her recovery. “I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive,” Jolie wrote. “So to anyone who has a wife or girlfriend going through this, know that you are a very important part of the transition.” Brad even shared how proud he was of his future-spouse to USA Today. So today we applaud Mr. Pitt— a stellar partner, and owner of magnificent gold mirrored sunglasses and an impressive mane. We hope he looks just as stylish at Cannes this year.
