Karl Lagerfeld Thinks He Helped Adele Lose Weight

When asked if he could clarify his inflammatory comments about Adele being “a little too fat,” Karl Lagerfeld told CNN last week, “I never said that she was fat. I said that she was a little roundish; a little roundish is not fat. But for such a beautiful girl, after that she lost eight kilos [17.6 pounds] so I think the message was not that bad.” As for his statement that Pippa Middleton should “only ever show her back,” he repeated, “I think that her sister looks better.” At least he’s consistent? He also talked about marrying his cat, so let’s go ahead and take this whole interview with a grain of salt.
