WSJ. Magazine Can Put Old People on Their Covers, Too

When former WSJ. editor Deborah Needleman put 79-year-old Lee Radziwill on the cover of her first-ever T issue, she explained, “We’re post-race, post-feminist, but I feel like we’re not quite post-age. And we should be.” Now, her alma mater WSJ. is taking its turn with a septuagenarian: Woody Allen, photographed by Terry Richardson for the July/August issue. This comes hot on the heels of ESPN putting a 77-year-old golfer, Gary Player, in their annual Body Issue, which involves a nude photo shoot. Hooray for magazines breaking that stupid “three wrinkles only” rule.
