Anna Wintour’s everlasting love for tennis and a certain tennis player has been well documented. In the presence of Roger Federer, she has been known to smile (naturally), remove her sunglasses to peer into that good-looking face, and even dole out special tennis-outfit fashion advice. On Tuesday, the two friends reunited at the 270th Anniversary for Moët & Chandon (Federer currently serves as Moët & Chandon’s global brand ambassador). And in what we imagine to be a flurry of excitement to be reacquainted with her favorite tennis star, the Vogue editor pulled out the big guns, and, according to “Page Six,” reportedly took a helicopter from Long Island, where she was vacationing, to Chelsea Piers so she could celebrate. Judging from the photos from the evening, it looks like Anna’s efforts to enjoy a night with Federer Champagne were a success.
