Chanel Iman (in sparkly J. Mendel) and A$AP Rocky (in head-to-toe Dior) stole the show on the VMA red carpet with their on-camera kisses. And while it was her beau’s big night, Iman’s return to the Fashion Week runways is around the corner.
“I haven’t walked in the last three years, so it’s kind of a big moment for me,” the model said. To prepare, she’s taking a break from the city to visit her mom in Los Angeles. “She gets together a little package for me to go on the Fashion Week road,” Iman explained. “There are some flats, double-stick tape, an extra battery for my cell phone, and a nice blanket.” So basically, Fashion Week is just like summer camp — if summer camp happened in New York, Paris, and Milan instead of Maine.
A$AP Rocky, meanwhile, was focused on preparing for the night ahead. “I’m ready to have fun. I’m high, I’m drunk, and I feel good to be young,” he told the Cut.
