Take one quick whiff of Anna Sui’s latest fragrance, La Vie de Bohème, and you’ll feel like you’ve wandered into Alice’s wonderland. The sweet scent — which mixes the feminine, floral, and fruity notes of rose, pear, and berries (with a dash of black vanilla) — is sold in a bottle as girly and dreamy as it smells. The lavender potion literally glows out of the rose-shaped flacon, and a large gold butterfly kisses the cap. While the scent was concocted with free-spirited, adventurous, bohemian women in mind, its dessertlike aroma seems a better fit for young, romantic dreamers.
