DVF’s Former Creative Director Moves to Cavalli

While the world awaits news of Marc Jacobs’s successor at Louis Vuitton, here’s a little something to tide us over: Yvan Mispelaere, formerly the creative director and right-hand man at Diane Von Furstenberg, has taken over as Roberto Cavalli’s new design director, reports WWD. He will show his first collection for the label this February, while Cavalli himself will continue to make cocktails with his macaw and ride around Cannes on his Segway. Win-win for everyone, we say!
