The friendship between Donatella Versace and Lady Gaga started when Gaga borrowed a dress from the Versace archives for the “Edge of Glory” video — and was cemented when she penned the ode “Donatella.” Now, it has finally borne its desired fruit — a magical, celebrity-driven spring ad campaign. WWD reports that Lady Gaga is the rumored face of Versace’s spring campaign, which has apparently already been shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott in London.
